Our coordinator is currently in his 2nd year of Mechanical Engineering. Having been the Head of Operations for MSTC 2016, he realized the potential of this conference to be the catalyst for our future leaders to remain ahead and competitive in todays' fast paced world. Under his supervision, MSTC hopes to address the opportunities that lie ahead in STEM field.
Ooi Shu Ning
Her second involvement as committee for MSTC proves her enthusiasm to bring the conference to greater heights this year. She believes that it is a rewarding experience to shape the direction of the conference while aligning with YME-UK's vision to empower STEM students to develop themselves further beyond their fields. With the core message of the Fourth Industrial Revolution - how it will be impacting industries and our nation, MSTC is initiated as a platform for participants to embrace newly emerged technologies with open minds.
Nur Ain Syafiqah Abdul Halim
Ain is a 1st year Civil Engineering student that has the passion of empowering Malaysian youth especially in STEM areas through the inception of MSTC. Her involvement in KYoutreach and NALS gave her the insights on the role of youth in assisting the development of a country and equipped her with excellent leadership qualities.
Eva Marisha Cheria anak Unyat
Currently studying Chemical Engineering at UCL, Eva is highly dedicated to every jobs that she is involved with. This former Events Coordinator of UCL Engineers Without Borders has wealth of experience in leadership and events planning, thus efficiency can be expected from her as Head of Operations. She has the aspiration to encourage more intellectual discussion regarding STEM related issues among Malaysian youths.
Teng Kong Yew
His previous involvement in MSTC 2016 was an eye opener for him on the future prospect of STEM related fields in Malaysia. Kong Yew is a Mechanical Engineering student that is enthusiastic in promoting STEM that is portrayed from his appointment as student ambassador for his former school during British Science Week.
Ryan Tan Mieng-Zheng
Assisting with our finances, Ryan is a Mechanical Engineering student in the University of Manchester. Being the participant of MSTC in 2016 himself, Ryan realized how much we, Malaysians, have done in the STEM field, how much potential we have in the STEM field and how much more we can work on in the STEM field to compete globally.
Syahira Syazreen binti Zainal Abidin
A Chemical Engineering student with a passion in being a team player. Syahira knows that the key to securing sponsorship is to understand the needs of the corporate sponsors and the event itself. Having a deep interest in STEM areas, she became a part of the team as she believes that MSTC has a potential in developing the STEM related industry in Malaysia.
Siti Zulaikhah Mohd Ali
Heading up our sponsorship portfolio, Zulaikhah is a first year student majoring in Accountancy who is a knowledge seeker- this has led her to play a role in MSTC to understand STEM related issues better. During her time at IISM A Levels, she was elected as Treasurer for Student Council and received numerous awards for her outstanding academic achievements.
Muhammad Alif Ajis
As someone who is consistently growing himself, Alif is looking forward to work in a dynamic environment that offers various challenges and new exposure. His strengths lie on his communication and leadership skills that are essential for his position as the Head of Human Resources. Back during his college years, he was appointed as part of the Student Representative Council.
Lai Joe Yee
A mechatronics engineer in making, Joe Yee believes that incorporating teamwork into working culture is an essential foundation in every organization. Apart from being the ambassador for MSTC 2016, he also serves as a member of Enactus UK Manchester SPOT Finance. He is optimistic that MSTC will be one of the major STEM-based conferences that is highly anticipated in the future.
Muhammad Amin Adam Kushairi
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Premiere, Adam is an experienced graphic designer that has worked for numerous programmes such as Manchester Malaysian Night and KMS A Level Student Body. His background in engineering has benefitted him in terms of creative thinking that enables him to deliver stunning publicity materials for MSTC.
Chong Hui Wen
Hui Wen, a third year student in MSci Biology is a neuroscientist in training who formulates ways to understand the target audience inside out and tailors the outreach strategies. With her previous experience as the Creative Director for Virgin Media UK, she is well versed in planning and coordinating marketing strategies to ensure the success of the second establishment of MSTC.
