  1. What is MSTC?
    A conference aimed to provide insight into challenges in STEM and as a platform to explore the industry, by students for students.

  2. Where will MSTC be held?
    It will be held at Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus, the full address can be found below:

  3. Who is hosting MSTC?
    It is organized under the banner of the Malaysian Students’ Society of Manchester (MSSM).

  4. Who can attend MSTC?
    The conference is open to all Malaysian students studying in universities around the world. We also encourage participation from students who are interested in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) topics to learn and discover career choices.

  5. Who are the speakers at MSTC?

  7. When does online registration close?
    Our online registration will be up until the 26th of August 2016 at 11.59PM. So remember to register before then!

  9. Can I register at the door on the event day itself?
    Walk-in registration is available but lunch will not be provided for walk-in guests.

  10. What time does the event registration start?
    Registration starts on the 27th of August 2016 at 8.30AM outside of Lecture Theater 1, Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus.

  11. Will food be provided at the conference?
    Yes. Lunch will be served on the 27th of August 2016 from 12.30PM to 2.00PM.

  12. Will food be catered for vegetarians?
    Yes. Any food preferences can be informed to us via the registration form at Question 8 or send us an email at mssm.mstc2016@gmail.com.

  13. What is the conference dress code?
    Formal/Smart-casual. Formal attire is recommended for those attending the corporate luncheon.

  14. Is MSTC a free-seating event?
    Yes. However a number of seats will be reserved for those who have already paid the deposit prior to the event.

  15. Can I take photos or record during presentations or panel sessions?
    Flash photography and recording are strictly prohibited since there will be a video crew present to record the event.

  16. What if I can only attend one out of the two conference days?
    Please let the team know so in advance by sending an email to mssm.mstc2016@gmail.com as food and goody bags will be prepared for everyone.
